Car Load Special And More For This Saturday At Cottage Grove Speedway

Cottage Grove, Oregon- Saturday September 28th will feature another installment of excitement to the 2013 campaign at the Cottage Grove Speedway. In addition to the great racing that will take place at “The Grove” there will be some great deals at the front gate for this event. Adult tickets will cost $8.00 while children between the ages of twelve and six are $5.00. In addition to these special prices there will be a “Car Load” special for $25.00. That means you can pack a van, truck, car, or RV full of race fans and everyone gets in for $25.00.
Classes that will be running include the Northwest Extreme Sprints, Late Models, and Hornets. For the three aforementioned divisions it will be there final night of action and each class will crown a champion once the racing has concluded.
We would like to remind everyone that you can get your racing weekend started the night before as the Kage Karts make their return on Friday September 27th. This will be the first race in over a month and General Admission for spectators is FREE while Pit Passes will be sold for $10.00.
The Cottage Grove Speedway has hosted fast and exciting action as far back as 1956. Since then the ¼-mile banked oval has been regarded as a place where fast times are set and plenty of side-by-side racing occurs. Regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, NW Extreme Winged Sprint Cars, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Hornets from the months of April till October every Saturday night.
