Jake O'Neil bags prelim victory in Fall Nationals at Vado Speedway Park
Jake entered the Fall Nationals at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM over the weekend, chasing the $20,000 payday. Friday night after a 7th to 4th run in his heat race and a third to first run in the night's b-main, he rolled off 12th in the night's feature race and was able to rally his way forward to cross the finish line with a 4th place run.
Saturday, he swept the night's action, winning his heat race from 5th and then racing to the feature win from the outside of the front row.
And for the Sunday finale, he started on the outside of the front row, but unfortunately had mechanical issues, which ended his night and weekend early.
