Ron Davis III Drives to Fulton Speedway Modified Victory Lane
By Dave Medler
FULTON, NY (August 9, 2025) – Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway over thirty Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds put on the sail panels as a tune up for the 39th Annual Neivel Precision Plumbing Outlaw 200 Weekend October 2-4.
Ron Davis III would take the lead in the 35-Lap Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified feature on lap 13. Once out-front Davis would hold off a late charge from points leader Billy Dunn for the popular win.
Other winners on Bayberry Automotive & Custom Truck One Source Family Autograph Night. Emmett Waldron (DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman) Brayden Bullock (E & V Energy Novice Sportsman) John Pietrowicz (Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks).
In the 35-Lap Sail Panel Showdown feature, Jordan Bennett and Ron Davis III brought the field down to the green with Andrew Buff from his third starting spot took the early lead.
A yellow on lap 11 would erase Buff’s lead. The top five would be Buff, Davis, Corey Barker, points leader Billy Dunn, and Pat Ward on the restart.
Lap 13 would see Davis on the top side of speedway power by Buff to be scored the new leader.
At the halfway point Davis was still blasting the cushion with Buff and Dunn throwing sliders on each other for second and third while keeping Davis in sight.
With 10 laps to go Davis got slowed up by traffic and that allowed Dunn to close with both still pounding the top.
The difference in the race in the final laps was when Ron Davis III switched to the bottom lane that allowed him to pull away from Billy Dunn for the popular win. Andrew Buff, Tim Sears Jr. from 15th, and Larry Wight from 16th completed the top five.
Jake Davis would drive out to a big lead early in the 25-Lap DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman feature while behind him the racing was two and three wide battles for position.
Lap 10 and no yellows allowed Davis to maintain his big lead over Brett Sears, points leader Emmett Waldron, Tony Finch II, and Mike Button.
A yellow on lap 14 took away Davis big lead. Davis, Sears, Finch, Waldron, and Jason Parkhurst would be the top five for the restart.
Lap 18 would see Waldron using the high side blast by Davis into the lead with Parkhurst following into second.
Over the final laps Emmett Waldron would pull away for the win. Jason Parkhurst, Jake Davis, Tony Finch II, and Tyler Corcoran finished second through fifth.
Brandon Barron would lead the opening three laps of the 15-Lap Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stock feature with John Pietrowicz taking the top spot on lap four.
A yellow on lap 12 and restart saw Nate Peckham keep pace with John Pietrowicz in the closing laps, but Pietrowicz would be first under the checkers. Adam Hunt, Casey Cunningham, and Brandon Barron finished third through fifth.
Parker Fowler would start the 15-Lap E & V Energy Novice Sportsman feature in fourth and would drive into the lead on the opening lap.
Fowler would lead until lap 12 caution when Brayden Bullock would drive into the lead and go on to the feature win. Kingston Sprague, Parker Fowler, Jacob Gurecki, and Keith Simpson completed the top five.
