Brown Goes Back-to-Back with A Victory at Historic Dixie Speedway!

(Woodstock, GA – August 9, 2025) – Joseph Brown is on a roll. Just 35 days after dominating at Xtreme Speedway in Danville, Alabama, the Pine Mountain Valley, Georgia racer returned to Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series action Saturday night at Historic Dixie Speedway — and picked up right where he left off.

Brown nearly swept the evening, setting overall fast time in Bama Sheds & Pole Barns Pole Qualifying with a blistering lap of 15.378 seconds before leading all 40 laps of the $3,000-to-win feature. The win marks Brown’s second series victory in a row and extends his streak to 90 consecutive laps led dating back to the July 5th Xtreme Speedway event.

“We have an awesome little piece right now,” Brown said in victory lane. “I’m happy to go to a racetrack I’ve been to in the past. Racing with Ronnie Johnson here probably won me that race just then — them old-school guys kicked my butt here for years. Jeff Smith’s a heck of a race car driver, too. He’s won a ton of races over the years, and he’s one of those you’ve got to watch.”

Chatsworth, Georgia’s Jeff Smith kept Brown in sight throughout the race to secure the runner-up spot, while series regular Matt Henderson of Lenoir City, Tennessee charged to third. Henderson’s podium run moved him from fifth to second in the season standings, now just 22 points behind leader Jeremy Steele as the series heads into a pivotal doubleheader weekend.

The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series heads to Penton Raceway in Lafayette, Alabama, on Friday, August 15, for a $2,500-to-win feature — marking the series’ 12th visit to the 3/8-mile oval and the first since Shep Lucas claimed victory in 2016.

On Saturday, August 16, the tour travels to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia, for a $3,000-to-win feature plus a $1,000 bonus from Clint Smith to the highest average-finishing series competitor between the two events. Fans unable to attend in person can catch both nights live on Crate Racin’ USA TV.
