Pair of Second-Place Finishes Highlight Schrader's Weekend

Ken Schrader showcased his versatility over the weekend with strong performances on both pavement and dirt in a doubleheader outing.

On Friday, Schrader made a guest appearance in the Cassill Motorsports No. 7 Sport Mod at the asphalt oval of Hawkeye Downs Speedway for Cassill Wall of Fame Night. He made an early statement with a dominant drive from seventh to first in his heat race. Carrying that momentum into the feature, Schrader charged past four competitors to finish second, joining winner Tallan Chandler and third-place finisher Stacy Olson on the podium.

Switching surfaces on Saturday, Schrader returned to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. After a fifth-place heat race result, he picked up a B-Main victory to secure his spot in the main event. In the 20-lap feature, the veteran driver put on a show—advancing 16 positions to score another runner-up finish and cap off an impressive weekend.
