Hill sixth with Southern Nationals at Wythe Raceway
Vic Hill climbed back behind the wheel of his Estes Bros. Construction Inc. No. 1 Late Model over the weekend as Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) hosted the second round of the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals.
Clocking a 16.106-second lap in his qualifying group, Hill earned a fourth-row starting position for the $10,053-to-win A-Main. In the 40-lap feature, he advanced one spot to record a solid sixth-place finish.
