Herrington grabs pair of Top-5 finishes with Southern Nationals at Senoia and Swainsboro

Joining the mini-tour as they invaded his home state of Georgia, Wil Herrington was one of 34 Southern National Series entries at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway for the Roscoe Smith Classic.

Locking himself into the $7,544-to-win show through qualifying, Herrington made up four spots in the 44-lapper and rounded out the Top-5 in fifth. Wil carried his momentum into Friday's show at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway where he started on the front-row and ran fourth in the running order.

Herrington closed out the three-race stretch with a 13th-place finish at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday.
