Sixth-place run at Senoia Raceway with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series

Over Fourth of July weekend, Dalton Cook followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday evening for the one-day, $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.

Stopping the clock seventh-fastest in his group, Cook finished third in his heat race and started from the fifth-row in the 50-lap main event. Dalton kept his nose clean and steered clear of the drama which resulted in a solid sixth-place finish.

Cook now sits fourth in the overall series point standings.
