Joiner settles for runner-up finish at Senoia Raceway with HTF Series
For the holiday weekend, Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front team followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday evening for the $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.
Qualifying third-fastest in his group, Joiner went on to pick up a heat race win and redraw the No. 4 starting position for the $15,000-to-win feature. Joseph quickly took the lead and led laps 6-41 before Jimmy Owens got around him. Joiner settled for a runner-up finish.
Joiner is now fifth in the current series point standings.
