Austin Theiss collects pair of Top-10 finishes over Fourth of July weekend

Austin Theiss kicked off his holiday weekend on Thursday evening at Hunt County Raceway (Greenville, Texas) for the first of three nights with the American Crate Late Model Series.

Finishing third in his heat race, Theiss started from the fourth-row in the $1,500-to-win opener and raced to a seventh-place finish after 25-laps.

Friday's Fourth of July show at Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas) was rained out.

On Saturday night, Austin ran runner-up in his heat race which put him on the third-row for the $1,500 show at Grayson County Speedway (Bells, Texas). Theiss ran fifth in the 25-lap weekend finale.
