Clash on the Bayou Set to Ignite the Rev This Weekend

(Eastaboga, AL - July 9, 2025) – The Gulf South Crate Racing Association rolls into Monroe, Louisiana, this weekend for one of the most anticipated stops on the 2025 schedule — the Clash on the Bayou at Revolution Park. The action-packed event will span July 10-12, headlined by a $1,500-to-win Gulf South Crate Late Model feature and a massive $3,000-to-win Tuner/Compact feature, drawing heavy hitters from across the region.

The GSCRA, sanctioned by Crate Racin’ USA, has already seen a thrilling first half of the season with five different races producing four different winners. Corey Neil Jr. set the tone early, dominating the opener at Sabine Speedway in March. David Winslett followed with a powerful drive from sixth to victory at Boothill Speedway. Veteran and series founder Rob Litton controlled the field at The Rev in April, while Bubba Mullins lit up Super Bee Speedway with a back-to-back sweep in June, including a dramatic last-lap pass over Litton in the finale.

Heading back to Revolution Park for their second visit of the season, the Gulf South contenders are in a heated chase for the championship. Litton leads the standings with 390 points, closely followed by Mullins (-25), Mark Underwood Jr. (-65), and Winslett (-75). With a packed field expected, this Saturday’s main event offers another critical opportunity for drivers to stake their claim in the points race.

But it’s not just the Crate Late Models taking center stage. The Tuners/Compacts division will unleash a full 24-car starting field in a wild $3,000-to-win showdown, offering $100 just to start. With a payout like that and bragging rights on the line, fans can expect door-to-door racing and no shortage of drama.
