Feger Captures Second DIRTcar Summer Nationals Weekly Title with Red Hill Victory
Jason Feger’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals momentum continued over the Fourth of July weekend, as a $10,000 victory on Friday at Red Hill Raceway propelled him to the Week Four points title—his second weekly crown of the 2025 tour after previously winning Week Two.
Friday’s triumph marked Feger’s ninth win of the season and the 35th of his Hell Tour career.
"I was just patient. This place is typically really hard on tires, and Dillon — I wanted to get up on that top, too — but I didn't think my car would be as good as it was around the bottom, and it drove around it pretty effortlessly and felt really good," Feger said. "So I was gonna stay down there as long as I could just because I knew it was gonna be a lot easier on my tires and just keep pressuring Dillon. He kept running harder and harder and I could see his grip starting to give up on him a little bit."
Feger opened Week Four with a third-place finish at Benton Speedway on Tuesday before finishing sixth Wednesday at Spoon River Speedway.
On Thursday at LaSalle Speedway, Feger led laps early before ultimately finishing second behind first-time Hell Tour winner Tyler Millwood. He bounced back Friday with a strong showing at Red Hill, outdueling Dillon McCowan to score the $10,000 payday.
The weekend wrapped up with a 10th-place run Saturday at Tri-State Speedway and a runner-up finish Sunday at Duck River Raceway Park. The consistent performance across six races helped Feger edge Tyler Erb by a single point to claim the $10,000 Week Four points championship.
