Tyler Millwood captures first-career DIRTcar Hell Tour victory at LaSalle Speedway

Tops Week Four Champ Jason Feger to Claim $5,000 Payday

KINGSTON, Ga. (07/07/25) – Before Fourth of July celebrations officially kicked off, Tyler Millwood lit up LaSalle Speedway with fireworks of his own—charging from 10th to victory in Thursday’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals feature.

The Georgia native methodically charged through the field in his Millwood Plumbing / AMCON Industrial Contractors No. 31 Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engine-powered Super Late Model. A well-timed late move allowed Millwood to overtake Week Four points champion Jason Feger and secure the $5,000 payday—marking his first win of the 2025 season.

“It’s awesome ‘cause this ain’t easy,” Millwood said. “It might look easy sometimes, but it’s not. This is really hard and it took every ounce of my knowledge to say ‘Can I move out and try to get by (Feger) there.’ This is badass, and hopefully we can get us a couple more (wins).”

Millwood’s Week Four run began Tuesday as the Summer Nationals returned to Missouri for a stop at Benton Speedway, where he recorded a 10th-place finish. He followed that with a strong third-place showing on Wednesday at Spoon River Speedway—his best tour finish to that point.

The breakthrough came Thursday at LaSalle, where Millwood advanced to the feature with a third-place finish in his heat race. In the main event, he navigated traffic to take control late and secure his long-awaited first Hell Tour triumph.

Following the emotional win, Millwood posted a 15th-place finish Friday at Red Hill Raceway. The weekend concluded with back-to-back events in Indiana and Tennessee, where he recorded a ninth-place finish Saturday at Tri-State Speedway and a 13th-place result Sunday at Duck River Raceway Park.

Millwood wrapped up Week Four fourth in the overall points standings.
