Bob Westcott Sweeps WRS Late Model Lites Events

The WRS Late Model Lites visited the Cottage Grove Speedway for the first time on Saturday July 20th. Bob Westcott of Milwaukie would seize the lead on lap six and would stay out in front the rest of the distance to pace the field the rest of the way. Westcott would complete a sweep of the action as he would put his Fab Tek/Vision Graphics/Royal Purple #93 entry into victory lane.
Dennis Pittsenbarger of Portland would come home in second in his Royal Purple/Gumout/Brembo Brakes #94 MasterSbilt while earning third place was Mike Christopherson, also from Portland, in the Fab Tek/Vision Graphics/Royal Purple #17 Rayburn. The rest of the finishing order would consist of the #3 machine of Dave Weselowski from Beaverton in fourth and Nolan Fincher from Medford in his Brian Luzny-Keller Williams Real Estate/Morgan Stalney Financial/Dick’s Towing #10 Klemcheck in fifth.
Bob Westcott was fast time of the night at 14.438 seconds while also earning both the heat race and trophy dash victories. The WRS Late Model Lites will return to the Cottage Grove Speedway next Saturday July 27th for a full card of racing.
