Rilat leads the distance at Willamette

Bryan Hulbert - LEBANON, Ore. (July 3, 2013) Travis Rilat drew the front row Wednesday night at the Willamette Speedway and led the distance for his second Bully Dog Performance Speedweek Northwest presented by Contingency Connection score.

Pulling to as much as a straight-a-way advantage over the course of the night’s 30 lap feature event, Rilat was chased to the finish by sixth starting Shane Stewart with Roger Crockett, Zack Spaulding, and Steven Tiner making up the top five.

The remainder of the top ten included Henry VanDam, Trey Starks, Justyn Cox, Reece Goetz, and Cam Smith.

Rilat’s win boosted the Forney, Texas driver back to the runner up spot in the Speedweek point standings; 48 behind Roger Crockett. Henry VanDam sits another 16 markers behind with Mason Moore and Cam Smith rounding out the top five in Bully Dog Speedweek standings.

The ASCS Northwest Region will take Thursday, July 4 off with competition resuming on Friday, July 5 for the first of two nights to end out the Bully Dog Performance Speedweek Northwest presented by Contingency Connection at the Cottage Grove Speedway.
