Fourth-place finish in Winter Nationals finale at All-Tech Raceway
Garrett Alberson rejoined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Thursday afternoon as he unloaded his Roberts Motorsports No. 58 Longhorn at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) for night one of the Winter Nationals.
Finishing 18th in the $10,000-to-win opener, Alberson picked up his pace on Friday evening as he set fast time among 45 entries before taking the checkered flag in his heat race. Rolling off from the pole in the $12,000-to-win feature, Garrett did not get a great start and faded back to ninth after 50 laps.
Winning his heat race on Saturday night, Alberson started third in the $15,000-to-win finale and led briefly at the beginning of the 50-lap feature before settling for a fourth-place finish. He trailed Devin Moran, Jonathan Davenport, and Tyler Erb while Tim McCreadie completed the Top-5.
