NASCAR Weekend Recap
Friday we ran the 604 car for the 37 laps $3700 to win special. Driver fell out of the seat in qualifying running the wrong line. Qualified 11th out of 48 cars. Started 4th in the b main and transferred in. Started 21st made it to 13th and got caught up in someone else’s wreck ending our night with a bad torn up racecar. We got after it and had everything fixed back up for Saturday.
Saturday night we ran both, the 602 and 604 car. 602 car we hot lap/ qualified 3rd out of 31 cars. Ran 2nd most of the race, made a move on the outside passing for the lead and got pinched in the wall, few laps later, we decided we wanted to see if the wall was any faster about leaving the race track. Ended up falling back to 4th place with just a couple laps to go and that’s where we finished. 604 car we qualified 5th in our group locking us into the main race 60 laps $6000 to win. Rolled off 9th came to 7th when the track rubbered up and ended up finishing 8th. All in all we had a great weekend, learned some stuff, had great company, great help, and strong showings in both classes. Our plans next weekend are unknown at this time but will keep everyone updated. Huge thanks to all of our partners that makes our team what it is.
