Podium outing at Cherokee Speedway in Mike Duvall Memorial
On Saturday afternoon, Ross Bailes invaded Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Saturday afternoon and unloaded his Joey Malone-owned No. 87 machine for the Mid-East Super Late Model-sanctioned Mike Duvall Memorial.
Laying down the fourth-quickest lap out of 23 Late Model entries, Bailes finished second in his heat race and started fourth in the 50-lap main event. With $10,000 up for grabs, Ross rounded out the podium in third behind Donald McIntosh and Casey Roberts.
