Ashton Winger runner-up in Cotton Pickin' at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Ashton Winger headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss,) with the Mathews Motorsports team on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Cotton Pickin' 100 with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
Among a huge 45-car field, Winger qualified fourth-quickest in his group before taking the checkered flag in his heat race. Ashton started fourth in Saturday's $20,000-to-win feature and raced to a podium finish in second. He trailed Ethan Dotson while Brandon Overton completed the Top-3.
