Will Roland suffers hard hit at Talladega Short Track during NASCAR weekend

Debuting a brand-new powerplant over the weekend, Will Roland was one of 47 Crate Racin' USA entries at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day Red Farmer Tribute.

After locking himself into the $3,700-to-win feature, Roland was battling for position when contact from another competitor sent him careening into the wall. Not able to fix the damage at the track, Will went home early.
