The Hornet's Nest is next for Crate Racin' USA
(Eastaboga, AL - October 4th, 2024) The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series heads to the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL for the 4th Annual Red Farmer Tribute on October 4th and 5th. This event is set to honor legendary NASCAR Hall of Famer Red Farmer, a true icon of the sport, and promises to deliver thrilling action both nights.
Friday night's feature will pay $3,700 to-win, followed by an even more impressive $6,000 to-win showdown on Saturday night. Previous winners of this prestigious event include Matt Henderson ('21), Jimmy Thomas ('21), Joseph Joiner ('22), Michael Page ('22), and Cory Hedgecock who won both feature in 2023.
But that’s not all—this weekend coincides with NASCAR weekend at Talladega Super Speedway, ramping up the excitement! Fans can also catch the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, showcasing Super Late Models with a $5,038 to-win feature on Friday and a hefty $15,097 to-win purse on Saturday.
In addition to these thrilling headliners, local divisions will be in action, including Talladega Sportsman, Hot Shots, CRUSA Late Model Sportsman, Factory Stocks, and CRUSA Modified Sportsman.
Gates open on Friday at 4:00 PM with racing kicking off at 6:30 PM. On Saturday, gates will open at 3:00 PM and racing will start at 6:00 PM. Don’t miss this incredible weekend filled with high-octane excitement and the chance to witness some of the best dirt track racing around!
