Derek Watson Wins Championship in American Powder Coating POWRi B-Mod Division
Belleville, IL. (9/30/24) Affirming a proclamation of speed, reliability, and excellence throughout the second seasonal campaign of a National Championship quest, the American Powder Coating POWRi B-Mod Division would crown the accomplishments of Derek Watson as the yearly title holder in the always exciting and constantly growing division.
Procuring the second yearly POWRi B-Mod title through an outstanding run of thirteen wins and consistency on the season, Derek Watson, of Bolivar Missouri, would capture the championship by engaging inside the top five in all but a duo of his twenty-eight seasonal starts as well as placements inside the top ten in all events entered.
Seizing the title over a determined field of top-notch drivers, Watson would hold honors in the yearly standings by forty points over nine-time feature winner Dawson David, of Mexico Missouri, as Springfield Missouri’s James Thompson completed the American Powder Coating POWRi B-Mod division yearly podium placements with six season victories.
Remaining within the chase for a championship throughout the POWRi B-Mod divisional campaign would find six-time feature winner Terry Schultz, of Sedalia Missouri, and Prescott Kansas’ Dakota Lowe completing the top five with Tim Karrick, Jackie Dalton, Austin Joplin, Chris Spalding, and Rylan Gibbs finalizing the top ten in the 2024 POWRi B-Mod Division National Standings.
