Jason Feger repeats at Spoon River
Jason Feger made a mid-week trip to Brownstown (IN) Speedway on Wednesday for the sixth round of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries.
With 37 Late Models in the pits for the precursor to the Jackson 100 weekend, Feger advanced into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a runner-up heat showing. Battling a slowing deflating right-rear tire in the main event, Jason salvaged a 12th-place finish in the 50-lapper.
At Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Saturday, Feger outran pole-starting Ryan Unzicker in the 25-lap feature to secure his 16th win of the season.
He picked up a $3,000 payday for his efforts.
Jason is currently fourth in the latest Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings.
