Dillard collects pair of Top-5 finishes in World of Outlaws doubleheader; runner-up finish at Rocket Raceway Park
On Friday afternoon, Cade Dillard welcomed the World of Outlaw Case Late Model Series to his home state of Louisiana at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) for the first night of their doubleheader weekend.
Dillard finished third in his heat race which slated him to start ninth in the $15,000-to-win feature where he would move to a fifth-place finish.
The following night at Rocket Raceway Park (Petty, Texas), Cade put down the quickest lap his qualifying group before taking the checkered flag in his heat race. Redrawing the third-starting spot for the 50-lap feature, Dillard ran runner-up to Brian Shirley.
Dillard is currently sixth in the point standings with the World of Outlaws.
