Hill drives to 13th in Scorcher at Volunteer Speedway

Thursday night found Vic Hill in action at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the annual Scorcher.

Drawing a stout field of 25 Late Models for the event that was also honoring the late Scott Bloomquist, Hill’s qualifying effort pinned him on the ninth row for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Inching forward in the 50-lap affair, Vic muscled to a 13th-place finish.
