Jake Knowles rolls to seventh-place outing in State Championship at East Alabama Motor Speedway

For one of the tour's biggest events of the season, Jake Knowles followed Crate Racin' USA to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon for the first night of the Alabama State Championship.

With qualifying and heats slated for Saturday, Knowles laid down the third-quickest lap in his group before finishing third in his heat race. Locked into the $10,000-to-win main event on Sunday, Jake made up three spots in the 50-lap feature to finish seventh.
