Ty Giles scores Top-10 finish in Alabama State Championship at East Alabama
For one of the tour's biggest events of the season, Ty Giles followed Crate Racin' USA to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon for the first night of the Alabama State Championship.
With qualifying and heats slated for Saturday, Giles qualified eighth-fastest in his group before charging forward five positions in his heat race to finish third. Locked into Saturday's $10,000-to-win main event, Ty drove to a Top-10 finish in eighth.
