Trent Ivey runner-up with Carolina Clash at Fayetteville Motor Speedway

Trent Ivey brought out his familiar No. 88 machine in the Carolinas over the weekend as he competed with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series on Saturday afternoon at Fayetteville (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

With 38 Super Late Model entries on hand, Ivey started the $7,500-to-win feature from the second-row and ran second to race-winner Dustin Mitchell after 50 laps.

Ivey also drove Jeff Queen's 602 Late Model but dealt with mechanical issues before the main event.
