INVADING THE PALACE: Aaron Reutzel Beats High Rollers and PA Posse in The Night Before Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal

All this talk about the High Rollers and the PA Posse, yet an invading Knoxville regular is who took all the glory on Friday night at Port Royal Speedway.

There was no doubting who was the best car in The Night Before the Tuscarora 50 as Aaron Reutzel put on a dominating display. After redrawing seventh, he went 7th-to-4th in the Dash, and then 4th-to-1st in only three laps of the Kubota A-Main.

Reutzel took the Ridge & Sons Racing #87 by Brian Brown on Lap 3 then fended off one slider attempt by Anthony Macri on a Lap 19 restart and drove away to a 2.877-second margin of victory.

In his 15th start with the series, Aaron Reutzel became the 15th different driver to visit Whiskey Myers Victory Lane with Kubota High Limit Racing. It was the third victory in Port Royal, Pennsylvania for the Clute, Texas native - going along with a 2018 Labor Day Classic win and 2019 Tuscarora 50 title.

Reutzel led an entirely new podium on Friday as he, Justin Whittall, and Chase Dietz all collected their first-career top-three finishes with Kubota High Limit Racing.

Whittall, of Vincentown, New Jersey, drove his #67 to a career-best runner-up finish on Friday after going toe-to-toe with the likes of Macri, Sweet, and Dietz.

Dietz, of York, Pennsylvania, took the Zemoc Racing #1Z from 11th-to-3rd to round out the podium.

Closing out the top-10 was Brad Sweet, Brian Brown, Spencer Bayston, Cory Eliason, James McFadden, Troy Wagaman Jr, and Corey Day.
