Briar Cheatham grabs Deep South Speedway win for second checkered flag in a row

Coming off a victory last weekend, Briar Cheatham was back in action at Deep South Speedway (Loxley, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon over Labor Day weekend.

Topping a 20-car field in qualifying, Cheatham sat on the pole for the 15-lap main event and battled briefly for the top spot before pulling away to score his second victory in a row.

Back at Southern Raceway (Milton, Fla.) the following evening, Cheatham qualified seventh-quickest and made up two spots in the A-Main to finish fifth.
