RPM And Texarkana 67 Speedway Coming Up For ASCS Elite Wing And Non-Wing During USAC Sprint Car Swing

TEXARKANA, Ark. (August 28, 2024) In a week’s time, the sights and sounds of 410cid Sprint Cars will permeate the short tracks of Texas and Arkansas as the USAC Amsoil Sprint Car National Championship ventures south for RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas on Thursday, September 5, before hitting the Non-Wing Short Track Nationals on Friday, September 7 and Saturday September 7 at Texarkana 67 Speedway in Texarkana, Ark.

Taking on the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprint Cars presented by Abilene Powder Coating all three nights, the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprint Cars add a side of wings to the equation at Texarkana 67 Speedway.

Racing the now-closed Devil’s Bowl Speedway one year ago on Thursday night, Oklahoma’s Brady Bacon picked up the win at the famed half-mile. Halted by weather the following night at Texarkana, the Non-Wing Short Track Nationals went live on Saturday with Matt Westfall pacing to his first USAC Amsoil Sprint Car National victory in 17 years.

Current MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprints point’s leader, Marcus Thomas, captured his fourth career win with the series during the 2023 event. Bringing momentum into the weekend, Thomas won in the tour’s last outing at Kennedale Speedway Park on August 24.

Blake Hahn captured the tour’s most recent win at Texarkana at the Ralph Henson Memorial in July.

$6,000 to win Thursday at RPM Speedway, prelim action at Texarkana 67 Speedway will offer up $5,000 to win for the USAC Amsoil Sprint Car National Championship and $2,500 to win for the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprint Cars.

Saturday’s championship event at the Arkansas quarter-mile raises the stakes to $10,000 to win for the United States Auto Club and $3,500 to win for the ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprints.

Thursday, September 5 at RPM Speedway opens at 6:00 p.m. with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. (CDT). Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors (60+), military, and youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under into the grandstands. Pit Passes are $45. Friday, September 6, and Saturday, September 7, open at 5:00 p.m. with cars on track at 7:00 p.m. (CDT) for hot laps. Tickets Friday are $25 for adults, $5 for youth (6-11), and free for kids five and under. Saturday tickets are $30 for adults, with the same youth and kid pricing. Pits are $40 per night.
