Top-10 finish in Rumble by the River finale at Port Royal Speedway
With a three-race swing scheduled for his home state of Pennsylvania, Drake Troutman began his homecoming week on Wednesday afternoon at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) for the fourth round of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries.
Placing runner-up in his heat race, Troutman started 10th in the $20,000-to-win feature and wound up seventh.
With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway for the weekend, Troutman joined a massive 51-car field on Friday afternoon.
Finishing 14th in the $10,000-to-win opener, Troutman went on a mad dash in Saturday's 50-lap main event as he charged from 17th-to-6th to land a Top-10 finish in the $50,000 finale.
Drake is currently leading the Rookie of the Year standings with the series.
