Diercks competes in busy week across Iowa

Defending his home turf against the XR Super Series, Spencer Diercks made the short trip to Davenport (IA) Speedway on Monday afternoon for the two-day Davenport Deal.

Against a stacked field of 34 cars, Diercks faded two spots in his heat, relegating him into a B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the $15,000-to-win opener, Spencer logged a sixth-place outing.

After Tuesday’s Davenport Deal finale to wet weather, Spencer broke out the TCE No. 21 Modified at Dubuque Fairground Speedway (Iowa) on Wednesday. Starting the feature in third, Diercks was an early retiree on the seventh circuit.

His final start of the week took place at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, IA) on Friday for the Darkside Gary Reinhart Memorial. After going fourth-to-second in his heat, Spencer retired with six laps remaining in the feature.
