RANSOMVILLE, NY (July 26, 2024) Cody McPherson from St. Catharines, Ontario was victorious in the 3rd annual Chris Moore Memorial for the Stirling Lubricants DIRTcar Sportsman on Friday night, presented by Parkhill Tree Service, Faery’s Nursery, Niagara Hardwood, and WNY Heroes. It was McPherson’s fifth Ransomville win of 2024. “Money” Mat Williamson from Ridgeway, Ontario won his fourth points-paying Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature of the season. Tyler Moore spun in turn three to bring out the caution on lap 21. McPherson would go to score the win, his fifth of the season and 16th of his career.

Phil Vigneri III and Steve Lewis Jr were on the front row for the Krown Undercoating 358 Modified feature, with Vigneri showing the way ahead of Lewis, Mat Williamson, Gary Lindberg, and Ryan Susice. Lindberg would take over second place on lap 12 from Vigneri, as Williamson encountered lap traffic. Ryan Susice would battle with Vigneri at the halfway mark for third place. Susice would waste no time to catch and battle with Lindberg for second place. The caution would come out on lap 22 as Steve Lewis Jr hit the turn three wall while battling for position with Noah Walker. The restart would see Williamson and Lindberg on the front row, with Williamson in the lead. Williamson would drive away to his fifth win of the year, and 30th career Ransomville triumph.

Mike Kelly and Butch Zimmerman were on the front row for KiPo Chevrolet Street Stocks main event, with Butch Zimmerman in the lead.
