King of Crate is Next

The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series will roar back to life on Friday night, August 9th, and Saturday, August 10th for the King of Crate event at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The Wallace family has stepped up to make this year's King of Crates event the biggest in its 14-year history, adding significant funds to the purse to entice drivers to visit the Tuscumbia, AL speedway. This event marks the 13th on the 2024 schedule offering $10,000 or more to the winner and kicks off a series of races, with five out of the next six events scheduled as $10,000-to-win races.

This will be the 10th time the series has visited the Tuscumbia, AL facility. The first visit occurred on August 5, 2005, when Ronnie Johnson took the checkered flag ahead of Denny Slayton and Jeff Fields. The most recent stop for the series was just one year ago, where the 2023 series champion Mark Whitener secured the victory on his way to his first career series championship.
