Eighth-place finish in Hell Tour stop at Sycamore Speedway
Spencer Diercks kicked off a busy race week on Wednesday with a trip to Maquoketa (IA) Speedway to compete in the Modified ranks.
After starting the night off with a heat race win, Diercks was sidelined early in the 20-lap feature.
On Thursday, Spencer joined the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Ill.) for the rescheduled Hell Tour event. With a fourth-place heat finish pinning him on the sixth row for the A-Main, Diercks climbed five positions in the 30-lap affair to register a seventh-place finish.
A visit to Farmer City (IL) Raceway on Friday resulted in an early exit in the MARS Late Model Championship Series sanctioned main event.
On Monday, Spencer visited his home track of Davenport (IA) Speedway for the XR Super Series sanctioned Davenport Deal but his bid for the $15,000-to-win opener fell short in a B-Main.
Tuesday's Davenport Deal finale fell to wet weather.
