Logan Zarin enjoys strong Fourth of July weekend with ULMS

Logan Zarin’s Independence Day weekend kicked off on the fourth with the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) sanctioned event at Bradford Speedway (Rew, Pa.).

Aboard his NAPA Racing No. 1Z Late Model, Logan opened four consecutive nights of racing with a sixth-place finish in Thursday’s Jason Dunham Memorial.

At McKean County Raceway (East Smethport, Pa.) on Friday, Zarin clawed forward one spot in the 30-lap feature to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Drake Troutman, Michael Lake, and Ryan Montgomery to the checkers with Tyler Emory coming in fifth.

With ULMS off on Saturday, Logan stopped at Marion Center (Pa.) Speedway for the fourth annual Nathan Lauer Memorial. After racing into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a runner-up heat out, Zarin went forward again in the feature with a sixth-place outing in the 40-lap affair.

Capping off his weekend with another solid run on Sunday, Zarin’s rolled to a fifth-place finish in the Mike Farr Memorial at Eriez Speedway (Hammett, Pa.).

On the heels of a very strong ULMS weekend, Logan has clawed back to fourth in the latest series point standings.
