Dustin Sorensen 11th in Gopher 50 finale at Deer Creek Speedway

Finishing out the Northern swing with World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series, Dustin Sorensen invaded Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) for night one of the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50.

Having to reschedule the first preliminary night to Friday afternoon, Sorensen found the wall in the first preliminary feature but found much better luck in the evening's $7,000-to-win prelim with a 12th-place finish.

Winning the Last Chance Showdown on Saturday, Dustin started the $50,000-to-win main event from the ninth-row and moved passed six competitors to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
