Pair of Top-10 outings in Volunteer 50 weekend at Volunteer Speedway

Competing in the Crate Late Model portion of the event, Matt Henderson checked into Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the first night of the unsanctioned-Volunteer 50 weekend.

With 39 Late Models on hand, Henderson started 13th in the 25-lap main event and made up five positions to finish inside the Top-10 in eighth.

Locked into Saturday's $8,050-to-win main event, Matt started the 50 lapper from the fourth-row and wound up with a seventh-place outing.
