Two states, two Brownstown runs for Bagley
Morgan Bagley competed at two tracks with Brownstown in the name over the weekend as he took on Brownstown Bullring in Illinois on Friday and Indiana’s Brownstown Speedway on Saturday.
On Friday evening, Mo Bags entered his Precision Trailers No. 14M Super Late Model in a 38-car DIRTcar Summer Nationals field to make his first “Hell Tour” start of 2024. Bagley finished sixth in his heat race at the quarter-mile Brownstown Bullring and took the fifth spot in the Last Chance Showdown, ending his night before the 40-lap, $10,000-to-win feature.
The next night, Bagley moved on to Indiana to compete in the 30-car Hoosier Classic with the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models at Brownstown Speedway. He finished seventh in his heat on the quarter-mile oval, but took the checkered flag in the Last Chance Showdown to move on to the $15,000-to-win main event. Bagley started 19th in the 50-lap race and came home in the same position.
