Jason Feger Claims Week 2 Summer Nationals Title with Lincoln Victory

Hell Tour Resumes on Tuesday at Springfield Raceway

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (06/25/24) – Jason Feger capped off an extremely consistent DIRTcar Summer Nationals swing with a $7,500 victory in Sunday’s Week 2 finale at Lincoln Speedway aboard his Titan Industries / Corrosion Technologies / Cheap Cars No. 25 Longhorn Chassis Late Model.

Feger’s run of six consecutive Top-5 finishes over the week earned him the $10,000 Week 2 DIRTcar Summer Nationals title.

"I mean, obviously Terbo has been on a roll, but I at least want to bring our A-game and give us a shot," Feger said. "We've been inching closer. So it feels good to finally have the car feeling like I feel like it should."

For the second week of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals deemed Hell Tour, Jason Feger followed the summer miniseries to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Tuesday to compete on the quarter-mile oval.

Following a third-place heat finish, Feger climbed five spots in the 30-lap opener to place fifth.

After a pair of runner-up finishes on Wednesday at Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.) and Thursday at Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.), Jason turned in a fourth-place performance in Friday’s stop at Brownstown (IL) Bullring.

Extending his run of Top-5 finishes on Saturday, Feger rolled to the runner-up honors in Saturday’s $10,000-to-win DIRTcar Summer Nationals A-Main at Federated Auto Part Raceway (Pevely, Mo.).

Jason capped off the second week of the Hell Tour with his third straight DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory at Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Ill.) on Sunday. He wrestled away the lead from Kye Blight early in the feature and fended off a red-hot Tyler Erb to secure the $7,500 victory and his eighth win of the season.

The win marked his 27th career Hell Tour triumph and his third straight at the Illinois oval.

On the heels of Sunday’s win, Feger claimed the $10,000 weekly DIRTcar Summer Nationals points title.
