Morgan Bagley competes in pair of CCSDS Clash at the Mag features
Team 14 and driver Morgan Bagley took on the “Black Ice” of Magnolia Motor Speedway over the weekend in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Clash at the Mag. They did so with a special cowboy hat graphic added to the wrap of the No. 14M Super Late Model to honor the memory and trademark look of longtime supporter Mr. Frank.
On Friday, 49 CCSDS competitors were at the 3/8-mile oval in Columbus, Mississippi, for a $5,000-to-win program. After just missing out on a transfer spot in his heat race, Mo Bags claimed the runner-up finish in his B-Main, putting him 21st on the grid to start the 30-lap feature. He climbed four positions in the race and came home 17th.
The following night, Bagley was among 47 CCSDS racers in the pits at Magnolia for the event’s $12,000-to-win finale. Bagley again came up shy of a transfer position in his heat race, but he went on to take the checkered flag in his B-Feature. He started 18th in the 50-lap main event and recorded a 21st-place result.
Bagley entered the Clash at the Mag as the CCSDS points leader. He now sits second in the standings, but is just 15 markers out of first place.
