Daniel Adam kicks off first week of Hell Tour at Peoria Speedway
With plans to tackle the entire Hell Tour schedule, Daniel Adam checked into Peoria (Ill.) Speedway on Wednesday night for the opening event of the Hell Tour.
With 32 DIRTcar Late Model signed in, Adam laid down a strong lap in qualifying but faded in his heat race to finish seventh. Not making the right adjustments for the consolation race, Daniel did not make the A-Main with an eighth-place finish.
Thursday's $5,000-to-win event at Kankakee (Ill.) County Speedway was cancelled due to severe weather in the area.
At Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) on Friday, Adam qualified fifth-fastest in his group before falling backwards in his heat race. Unable to transfer out of his last chance showdown, Daniel did not make the $10,000-to-win main event.
Meeting a week-high 49 Late Models at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday, Daniel started fifth in his last chance showdown but fell backwards to 10th.
Sunday's final event at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Ill.) was also rained out after a late shower washed out the racetrack.
