Zarin goes fifth-to-second at Lernerville
Taking part in a pair of events in his home-state of Pennsylvania, Logan Zarin returned to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Friday to pilot his NAPA Racing No. 1Z Late Model.
After losing ground in his heat race, Zarin started the feature in seventh and drove forward take the runner-up honors in the 25-lap affair. He chased Michael Norris to the checkers with John Garvin Jr. rounding out the podium.
Joining the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek miniseries on Saturday at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Logan followed up a fourth-place heat finish with a runner-up run in his B-Main. With a $5,000 up for grabs in the feature, Zarin retired on lap 27 of the 35-lapper.
