Top-5 finish with XR Super Series at Kokomo Speedway
After Wednesday’s Castrol FloRacing Night in America event fell to wet weather, Jason Feger returned to the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday evening as his preliminary night for the 30th annual Dirt Late Model Dream kicked off.
With the 100-car field divided into two groups over Thursday and Friday, Feger raced into Friday’s prelim with a consolation victory. Starting the $25,000-to-win A-Main in 22nd, Jason clawed forward three positions to finish 19th.
Jason’s bid for Saturday’s $100,030-to-win Dream XXX finale on Saturday drew to an early close with a 10th-place finish in his B-Main.
A visit to Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Ind.) on Monday for the XR Super Series' Monday Night Spotlight ended with a Top-5 finish for Feger Racing. With a $15,000 winner’s payday on the line in the main event, Jason rolled to a fifth-place finish in the 50-lapper. He trailed Devin Moran, Ryan Gustin, Bobby Pierce, and Tyler Erb across the line.
