Drake Troutman races into Show-Me 100 with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series over Memorial Day weekend, Drake Troutman joined 63 competitors at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Thursday for the first night of the Show-Me 100.
Starting off the weekend with the $10,000-to-win Cowboy Classic, Troutman won his B-Main which earned him a spot in the 45-lap feature where he would finish 17th.
Grabbing the final transfer spot in the final B-Main on Friday, Troutman pulled off early and recorded a 23rd-place finish.
After falling back in his last chance race on Saturday, Troutman took a provisional for the $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100 where he would once again pull off prematurely and finish 30th.
Troutman is currently 15th in the LOLMDS point standings and runner-up in the Rookie of the Year chase.
