Logan Martin races into Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway
With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series coming close to home, Logan Martin joined 63 competitors at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Thursday for the first night of the Show-Me 100.
Kicking off the weekend with the $10,000-to-win Cowboy Classic, Martin qualified fifth-quickest in his stacked qualifying group before finishing runner-up to Jonathan Davenport in his heat race. Rolling off eighth in the 45-lap feature, Logan faded to finish outside the Top-20 in 21st.
Hoping to keep more speed on Friday night, Logan fell backwards in his heat race and B-Main which forced him to watch the evening's feature.
Winning the Show-Me Challenge race on Saturday, Logan was the final starter for the $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100 in 33rd. Pulling off on lap 10, Martin was scored 32nd.
