Matt Tifft races into Lernerville Late Model opener
Matt Tifft returned to action on Friday to get more seat time behind the wheel of his Blaster Products No. 57 Late Model as Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) hosted their 2024 Late Model season opener.
Against a strong contingent of 25 Late Models, Tifft squeezed into the main event with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Despite being sentenced to the tail for slowing on the track to avoid a wreck, Matt rallied to a 17th-place finish in the 25-lapper.
Matt and the team traveled to Marion Center Raceway (Marion, Pa.) on Saturday but was a scratch from the feature.
