Tough luck battling for the win at Halifax County with Modified Mafia Tour
Saturday afternoon saw Austin Holcombe make the trip to Halifax County Motor Speedway (Littleton, N.C.) for the Modified Mafia Tour event.
Stopping the clock second-fastest in his group, Holcombe was victorious in the Climb to the Pole which earned the pole position for the main event. With $2,000 on the line, Austin was battling for the lead in the closing laps when he hit a rut coming into turn three which caused him to fade back to 10th.
