Matt Tifft
Tifft competes in Southern All Stars doubleheader at Moulton and North GA
After a rain-plagued month of March, Matt Tifft was able to break out his Blaster Products No. 57 Late Model over the weekend for a doubleheader program with the Coltman Farms Southern All Star Series.
Drawing 28 entrants to Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Ala.) on Friday for the Spring Smasher 40, Tifft learned a lot during his first-ever qualifying session in a Dirt Super Late Model but was relegated into a B-Main for another shot at the opener. Sending the top-six into the feature, Matt got turned around after moving forward early, dropping him two spots shy of a transfer position.
For the Bill and Frank Ingram Memorial on Saturday at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.), Matt qualified 14th-fastest in his group before placing seventh in his heat. Slated to start near the back of his B-Main, Tifft elected to scratch and watch the rest of the evening as a spectator.

Tifft will return to action this weekend on Friday at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) before action shifts to Marion Center Raceway (Marion, Pa.) on Saturday for the track's season opener.
